In my case i was full time my case was genuine. I started studying as follow
2018 winter first semester
2018 summer second semester
2018 fall official drop
2019 winter third semester
2019 summer third semester
2019 fall did two fail subject and passed
I am out of 180 days when i recieved refusal. Now applied for reconsideration and recieved corrrespondance letter. Dont know what will be results
Why did you waited so long for reconsideration
 
No i applied on dec 4 2019and got refusal on june 8 2020. By the time I recieved refusal i was out of 180 days. So only option i had was to reconsider . So i applied for reconsideration on june 11 2020 . And yesterday i got correspondance letter and my status changed from refusal to processing

So basically you could do nothing, it is because of covid, they are taking long time to process applications

Hey can we do both the things coz i applied for reconsideration on 12 jan 2021 nd got no response..while the ircc agent told me not to reapply if you have already send reconsideration request.i want to reapply.

You should re apply to be on safer side.
I did reconsideration and reapplied both.
