Hey, I got my PGWP refused too and, I applied for reconsideration with the help of immigration firm. I just called Cic in the morning for the issue of my status. They said my reconsideration application through Ircc webform is cancelled for some reason. Initially my PGWP was rejected stating I was two semester part time. Those two semester were bcuz I failed the course and I failed one of the course again and completed it in 2 months study plan. Please share your knowledge and experience of whether my application can be reconsidered or best way through this situation.
Hey,
When did you apply for reconsideration appeal?
Please share the timeline of submitting web form and getting the decision on the same.
Thank you.

So you were part time then and don't meet the eligibility requirements. Did your agent actually apply for reconsideration and verified that this was completed? Talk to your agent since I assume you paid them and they filed on your behalf.

Yeah I did verify that the application was completed. I don’t know what can I do when I only have two courses to complete the degree. Any idea what could I do next?

I have completed all the courses. And got the completion certificate and degree. The visa officers states that my two semester are part time cuz of retaking the failed courses to graduate.

So you were part time for two semesters so aren't eligible. talk to your agent who sent reconsideration and find out why it was cancelled. Maybe because your were part time.

Hii
I applied for my PGWP application and it got refused today and the reason is that i’m not full time student. My program was part time but college indicated that if i will do 3 coures in single term, then i’ll consider as full time student. But i did 2courses in one semester and was part time in that semester. I took one drop as well . i have strong reason for drop because my father is soo sick and i have to went back to my country urgently. and the reason of being part time is that i didn’t get course as per my program. i was so worried about my application. if anyone knows any solution please let me know soon.

Since you are already not eligible for pgwp, your pgwp application will be refused.

You can’t come to Canada and take a program part-time and be eligible for a PGWP. Even before you left the country you were part-time anyways. When you left you must have asked for authorized leave from your program, right? So you have a letter stating that you had to drop the semester because of illness in your family. If so you can ask for reconsideration but even then you were still part-time when you were in Canada with only two courses in a semester. Apply for another program, get a study permit and be a full-time student.

I don’t know if I could take any other courses or just bcuz trying to complete all the courses to graduate would put me in this trouble. I studied full time through out my program no unofficial breaks. I wasn’t intentionally trying to be part time or was something of my choice.

How can you be full time with only 2 courses in one semester? You said in your post that you were part-time. Now you say you are full-time.

I was full time student throughout my programme but I had two course left to clear to graduate. To graduate I had no other choice but complete those two courses. If the case is now more clear to you. I didn’t intentionally left them courses or take them later.

You took part time semesters so therefore you were not eligible for pgwp at all.

Got you mixed up with another poster. You need to talk to the immigration firm and find out what happened. But in your post you said “Those two semester were bcuz I failed the course and I failed one of the course again and completed it in 2 months study plan.“ So your were part time not full time throughout the program. You were rightly refused.
