Hello,
I came to Canada in Aug 2009 on a study permit. I started my bachelor degree in Sep 2015 and have completed:
2015-16 F/W: 5 credits
2016 Spring: 2 credits
2016-17 F/W: 6 credits
2017 Spring: 1.5 credits
2017-18 F/W: 5.5 credits
2018-19 F/W: 5 credits
I was reading over the eligibility, and it says:
They have maintained full-time student status in Canada during each academic session of the program or programs of study they have completed and submitted as part of their post-graduation work permit application.
Is Spring included in the regular academic sesion?
Spring and Summer terms are considered to be regular scheduled breaks, according to my school. All the credits I took during Spring are courses based on interest, not credits towards my actual degree. I have 3.5 extra credits on top of my 20 credits.
Would I still be eligible for a PGWP?
Thank you!
