Hi,
So I have done 1 yr course in public clg, ontario
So totally that is 3yrs of my education in Canada
1 in public clg 1 in private , got rejected pgwp and again 1yr in public . So my question is, what is the lenght of my pgwp?
1yr or 3yrs?
If only 1yr y not 3yrs?

What about the 1 yr course which I did prior to private clg? Is it not counted?
So I repeat , I did 1yr course in public clg 1yr in private and then 1 yr in public clg.
If private clg is not counted, I have 2 yrs in public clg right??

The one year course you did at a public college before the private college will not be counted. If you had take two public college 1 year programs back to back then you would get a 3 year PGWP. However because you took a 1 year private college program in between, you only qualify for a 1 year PGWP.
So please realistically, given the predicaments of posters immediately above, what options does one have, assuming one can't afford immediately another diploma or degree program at a public college or even leave Canada?
If you can afford to live in Canada, especially without being able to work, you can afford to leave. Otherwise, contact your embassy to return home.
Thank you, but I'm talking about someone who is already on a diploma program at a private college that's due to end in two or three months. He desires to stay on and get a PGWP but can't due to his ineligibility. He's considering applying to a public college or University but not enough funds as all he's been doing is mere 20 hours/week work that's just enough to pay his rent and feed.
If you have a friend that you'd rather have remain in Canada, what advice would you give him?
Find an employer willing to support an LMIA application but in the mean time ensure that stay in the country legally. As per attached link if not applying for a new program they can work once studies have finished until they get a completion letter and then must stop and apply to stay as a visitor for a period of time..

No point in applying to a college or University if cannot fund attendance plus possibly need a study permit extension.
Without an LMIA or ability to fund a new program or funds to buy an ticket out of the country then embassy is the only option to see if they will loan funds for a ticket. Simply not advisable of course to stay illegally given that could affect any future plans when conditions change
In hindsight should of course have researched the private college limitations for PGWP eligibility which are well publicised on the IRCC site

So to conclude all this :
1- If you pay for a 15000 cad$ or + a 2 years program with the second year is co-op in an institution not eligible for PGWP you just got robbed ?
2- For the students that already paid this programs what are the options for them after 2 years ?
3- Since it's not eligible, is it like u just waisted your time and money ?
4- Knowing all this and still applying does it mean that the person is stupid ?
5- After the 2 years program what is like the approximative probability that u will return to your country ?

Well they got the education which is what they paid for, rules are very clear about PGWP, they need to choose a college that qualifies if that is their goal.
The options are start another program which does qualify for pgwp or all the other immigration programs and permits available in Canada its just that can be much harder to qualify for, pgwp is pretty much guaranteed if your school qualifies and you manage to follow the other requirements during your studies.
