Hi guys,

I'm in a kinda complicated situation right now. I've already graduated last month and my study permit expired at the end of next month but due to some personal issues, I'm planning to go back to my country and apply for my PGWP there. But as the only flight back is on August 9th, which means my study permit will expire by then. I don't know if I should apply for the visitor record to stay here for that 8 days or as I know I have up to 90 days to apply for PGWP and have to pay to restore my status. Anyone knows if I go back to my country and apply for my PGWP there, would I have to restore my status as well?

You can't restore your status if you are not in Canada as there is no status to restore.

You can't restore your status if you are not in Canada as there is no status to restore.
So if I go back then I should just go through the normal process of applying for PGWP from overseas?
