PGWP online application and port of entry

Hello guys,
I have submitted an online application for PGWP 3 weeks ago inside Canada. The current average processing time is about 80 days.
I need my work permit ASAP to be able to apply for my wife's work permit as well.
Do you guys know that it is possible to get my PGWP if I go to border in person given that I have an online application in process???

That's a bad idea. CBSA officers are not entertaining this now. And you might get unnecessary rejection record.

is there a reason that you didn't apply for your wife's work permit at the same time. my company filed for my work permit and an open work permit for my wife at the same time.

You shouldn't risk trying to get a POE application these days.

I know that some open a single application for both PGWP and spouse OWP. But it seems that there are some requirements for applying for an OWP for spouse of a PGWP holder.

• You must upload a copy of your Post Grad work permit to their application for an open work permit, along with the following documents which you can upload under “Client Information”:
• a letter from your current employer that cconfirms you work in a NOC 0, A or B occupation, or a copy of your employment offer or contract.
• copies of your 3 most recent pay slips.
