PGWP Length

Hello,I am going to Canada in Sheridan College in
Sept. 2014 generally 2 Year program indicate on
Offer Letter but my Study will be end end on April
2016(20 month) + i get 3 months more visa to
apply for work permit(Total 23 months).

I want to know, what will be exact length of my work permit??

Can i need to extend my study or study permit to get 3 year PGWP.
I am confused???

Any experience!!!

Generally, the length of PGWP is equal to the length of your study permit, which is 2 years in your case. However, I have seen some cases where the PGWP equals the length of your studies (20 months). The maximum length can be 3 years.

Yes, mostly that is the case, but not always.

Strange, because I personally know two people who did 2 year programs and got PGWPs for 2 years. I believe there is not hard and fast rule. It depends on your background information and profile.
