PGWP: How long does it take to get it?

I applied for the PGWP on May 16. Does anyone know how long it has taken in the past for the PGWP to come through?

The reason I'm asking is that my TRV and study permit expire by the end of August, and I have a trip planned in early July...so ideally I would like to have my PGWP and TRV extension before I leave in July.

Or is this risky? In other words, if I just get the PGWP soon and only apply for TRV extension after I return to Toronto (mid-July), would that still be fine? Or would I face an issue with the immigration officers upon re-entry?
