Hi,

I am going for a 1 year course which can be completed in 16 months also.

offer letter states that the the course is normally completed in 12 months*.

If i complete my course in 16 months then the work permit will be issued for 2 years(or 16 months) or 1 year??

16 months studies will lead you to 3 year PGWP.
But if you're stretching 1 year program to 2 year program, they might give you 2 or 1 year PGWP also. '
What is the program ?

Its a masters program of 1 year but can be completed in 16 months also.

so if i take 16 months to complete do you have any idea how much time duration will i get pgwp of?

I'm really not sure about it. Because it's not possible to stretch 1 year program to 2 year. And they are not fool to understand your trick.
If you're wondering to study part-time , Then forget the PGWP thing.
