Hello everyone!
I recently graduated and started applying for the PGWP. I noticed two of the application requirements on the CIC website, and I am confused about the definition of "within 90 days after receiving written conformation":
- You must apply for a work permit within 90 days of receiving written confirmation (for example, a transcript or an official letter) from your institution indicating that you have met the requirements for completing your academic program.
- You must have completed and passed the program of study and received a notification that you are eligible to obtain your degree, diploma or certificate.
I didn't receive any written confirmation notifying my confirmed graduation status other than the diploma itself, which I received on the graduation ceremony in mid-June.
I did, however, receive online graduation confirmation in mid-May, and my last semester's grades came out on online in early May.
My question is, which of the three dates should count as the start point of the 90-day period?
Anyone is or was in the similar situation please advise. Thank you a lot!
