PGWP for one year PG program WITH OUT SEM breaks

Hello All,

Did anybody gone through this situation or you are aware of this.

If a one year PG program is continuous without sem breaks , Will the PGWP issued for one year or 8 months?

8 months course is considered 1 year only, you will get PGWP for 1 year

Hey Basically its one year course.
But in Canada, For one year program
there will be two sem's
! Sem = 4 months
2 sem = 8 months

Max times there will be gap in between two sems and even the duration is even 1 year considering the gap.


But in humber, There is no gap between two sems and in 8 months the program gets completed and thats the reason the program duration is also 8 months.

So im worried in this case, what embassy will take on such cases.

If you get a stamping of 1yr then you will get only one yr more PGWP. But 8months program with SPP colleges consider as 1yr length program

What is important is the completion letter at graduation from the college that you apply for your PGWP with, if it confirms that you completed a one year program you should qualify for a one year PGWP.
