What is the PGWP : Post Graduation Work permit after completing MBA of 1 year only i.e. 12 / 14 Month ??


1 year or 3 years ??

I know the basic structure of 1-->1 and 2-->3 but here I am confused as it is MBA degree program

I have same question bro...Meng courses at different universities are of 1 year(3 semesters) .... so will i get PGWP of 1 year or 3 year or between that ... wait for replies.... @momi , @tiger ,@enfield , all other senior members plz do reply

I have shortlisted some Universities as My Budget is not much and I am also looking for MBA from Low Budget Univ only.


So confused right now whether to go for M.Engg ( course Based) or MBA ...Any suggestions from you ??

bro it is upto you ... ask from urself and choose the right one...cheap universities

Work Exp -> 2.5 years in SAP Software - Enterprise Software Solutions

I can go for Course Based Masters. M.Engg as I am not interested in Research line but again if I apply for M.Engg in IT relates stream like S/W Engg , Univ might offer Pre-requisite courses which consume time and money Extra becuase I have not studied Computer related subject while in my Graduation only Data Structures.

What would you have done if you were in my case...Prepare for GMAT and then MBA OR M.Engg only

As you are interested in CS program so you have to take extra CS courses which would lead to more burden & extra money consuming .... if you wanna do Meng then go for your field only i.e. ECE .... thats wat i would suggest...if you are not interested in Meng in electronics ...then the only option is MBA ...score good in GMAT .... thats wat i would suggest .... best of luck

Yes, I checked certain M.Engg Course based programs related to IT like S/W Engg, Comp Engg but again the program modules consist of Programming languages for which I am not having slightest interest and other Subjects which I will covering very first time

What I decided is either go for M.Engg in Engg management/Technology Mngt OR MBA

I have started my Prep for IELTS and after 1 month will start prep for GMAT...

I will be applying to low Budget Univ for MBA or the above M.Engg Programs !!!

HI,

i am looking for the jan, 2013 session for my Pg diploma course....i have visited to few consultants and they said the following facts:

1. whatever i do....pg diploma course of 2 yrs (16 months) or MBA ...i will get 3 years of work permit for sure and after a yr and half i can apply for PR which i will get easily. moreover, i don't have to do the relevant job and even without a job i can stay there for 3 complete years.

---- first of all, as i have read in other blogs people are generally talking about pg certificate...and i have been told pg diploma...please throw some light on the same.
---- secondly, another consultant says that after completion of my pg diploma course gets over i dont get a job ín next two yrs, then i can not stay for the 3rd year and come back to INDIA. is it true ?
---- thirdly...if i don't get a job from their NOC list or job classified under 0, A or B category, am i eligible and can apply for the PR ?
---- As they have mentioned public universities across the blog, so i was confused whether the statement from the consultant is applicable for PG diploma courses or not.

2. As i am from marketing background and have four yrs of marketing and advertising experience. majorly(3yrs) in advertising, which pg diploma course i should go for, keeping in mind the eligibility for PR ?

---- Consultant told me to go for coop pg diploma course as i will do 6 months paid internship for sure under this programme which will help me in getting job further after the completion of the course. my query is if i don't get the opportunity to do the training for those six months course then will i have to come back and no further extension of 3 yrs will be given to me ? and how easy/ difficult to get these internship ?

queries after getting a job:

3. even if get a job under their NOC list .....is there any limit on the salary amount which we need to earn while doing the job ? for eg: if i earn less then 3000$ per month, then i am not eligible for PR.

4. After how many yrs of work exp, we can apply for PR ?

5. which are best colleges to go for pg diploma course in marketing/ business management which also helps in getting internship too...?

6. are there any govt. / publicaly funded universities too, which are better then the govt. colleges and offer MBA degree in less cost as compared to other expensive universities ?
