We applied our family PGWP application as soon as I got my completion letter on Apr 14, 2024 but havent gotten back yet.
And our initial study permit is expiring in the end of Dec. All of my friends who applied individually have already gotten their work permits.
We are so worried, and dont know what to do, even couldnt reach out to IRCC, does anyone know anything about this, also which number is the best number to call IRCC

After studying a year. I applied for my work permit and submitted my application on May 10, 2024.

I am particularly concerned because several individuals who submitted their applications at the same time, including my twin brother, received their approvals within a month. In contrast, my application has now surpassed the typical processing time.

I have made numerous attempts to seek information about my application status. Unfortunately, when I call, the automated system states it cannot receive calls and disconnects. Additionally, I emailed question@cic.gc.ca but have not received any response. This delay is causing considerable anxiety and uncertainty, as my work plans are contingent upon the approval of this permit. I am reaching out in the hope that someone can provide guidance or assist in expediting my application.

Hi! Sorry to hear that. Based on the cases in this tracker, there’s still a few PGWP applicants from the spring who are still waiting so maybe that timeline isn’t too unusual? You can check for yourself and ask about their progress: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-work-permits-tracker
