Pgwp extension

My situation:

1) I have completed 2 year program. Technically, I am eligible for 3 year pgwp

2) Graduated 04/2020 for pgwp. Got pgwp expires 12/2021, passport expires same day. Never recieved physical copy, have been back on forth with IRCC for over a year, doesnt seem like I am getting physical copy.

3) Study permit expired 03/2021.

4) I have applied Tr to Pr. Application number somewhere 30000. So AOR is not expected any soon.

My options:

1) Special program for Tr to Pr that provides work permit until their decesion. ( Worried applying for that. I must be able to extend pgwp, that would give more options in case my application denial)

2) Extending pgwp. ( Usually takes 160 days, I have time left only until December, 120 days. I don't I will able to extend on time.)

My question:

What would you recommend?

Is it possible they can review Pgwp extention as urgent application under my circumstances?

I only got 1 year PGWP due to passport expiration. I applied for extension after renewing my passport. Got approved for an additional 2 yrs PGWP for a total of 3 yrs. When you apply for extension before expiration of current status document, you are on implied status.

I have renewed passport but far too long than it was expected. 3 months instead of claimed 1 month. I am worried that if I apply for extention, they won't be able to review my application before current one expires.

That was fast! Just 1 month. Did you link your application for tracking purposes or just wait for any letter or email from IRCC for updates?

I linked my paper application to my gckey after one month. Then a couple of days later after I linked my application I got the review of eligibility. Approval the following day.

Nice to hear. Thanks for the response. I also filed an extension last week via paper. I'm planning to link it next month.
One more thing, when you go over the linking process, did u enter your current passport details?
