My OWP Application timeline: (in Canada with Restoration within 90 days)

Applied for OWP under this public policy : 05th Aug 2022
Received Submission Confirmation : 05 Aug 2022
Biometrics and UCI Update in profile : 10 Aug 2022

Hi,

I have a confusion and I hope you can clarify. My permit expired on 25th July but I already applied for an extension before that. Now that they have announced this new policy, should I apply for a new one ? If yes, will i have to cancel the existing application first and than apply for new (I will have to select restore status in that case). Would appreciate your suggestion on what I should do next. (Please note: I have not received any letter from IRCC)

Because you are now under implied status as you had applied before your PGWP expiry. You are perfect!!
