PGWP expiring with LMIA and OINP applications under process

With my pgwp expiring soon (in a couple of weeks), I'm trying to go for wp extension (explaining how my LMIA high wage is under process) just to buy time, and then once LMIA is approved, I was thinking of converting the application to Closed WP through a webform. Is that a viable option?
Also, I need to apply for my spouse and kid. At what stage is it ideal to apply for them??

No, it's not possible to convert an application via web form. You would need to submit a new application.

Is it possible to apply for wp extension just to buy time and then when I get my PNP nomination, apply for non express PR and then BOWP (without AoR)? I've heard some people getting BOWP just with the initial application receipt email and without the actual AOR. Thoughts?

No you cannot do a fake extension application. You can apply for visitor record if your permit hasn’t expired yet. Once you get nomination if it isn’t employer specific and you have less than 2 weeks of work permit expire then you don’t need to wait for AOR after PR you can just apply for the permit. If your nomination has employer restrictions then you need to apply for employer specific permit.

So here's the thing. I wanna apply for a BOWP and then hopefully get an ITA soon and apply for PR within a month (assuming that I don't get a refusal of BOWP by the time) and then submit my AOR through a webform. A consultant said that any kind of WP extension would be kept open for additional documents for atleast 2 months before rejecting. Would this process work, to let me continue working and maintain my status?
If so, I wanna apply SOWP and visitor visa (both new, not extension) for dependants. Would it be better to apply for them along with by BOWP application or wait till I get AOR and then ask them to be included later on?

How do you qualify to apply for BOWP? It's usually for someone who has applied for PR. You don't have ITA yet.
