Hi all,

I am seeing many posts with questions PGWP expiring soon, can I apply for paper work permit extension. I thought it will be helpful to have one thread where we can discuss about the possible options. Everyone please connect here, share your situation and provide any useful guidance.

Now my question is if I apply for visiting visa, CIC asked for medical result.
I did my medical for express entry, then I got rejected.
I know we could use the same medical result, however, the document that i received from the physician was a piece of paper saying that I did my medical, but they will directly send the medical to CIC.
Can I submit that paper, mentioning that the actual result was submitted directly to CIC, thus they could find my result in their file?

1. Yes, you can use the same medicals, as medicals are valid for 1 year. I called CIC and asked the same question, they said it is OK to use.

Are we even eligible to apply for a work permit extension?
my PGWP is expiring this December, my nomination is in progress (applied 2 weeks ago) but i don't know if i will get it by that time.
I don't think our situation makes us eligible for work permit extension.

most companies wouldn't do LMIA, and mine is already doing nomination, i don't think they will do both.

If we get a visit visa, we lose our jobs
