PGWP expiring - options?

If i apply for visitors visa in december 2016 (pgwp expring end of jan 2017) and if visa doesnt come till feb, can i wait here until there is a decision made or i have to go back?
Also, if i get visitors for 6 months (until July 2017 maybe) and if no ITA until july then can i apply for study permit inside canada just so i can extend my stay?
Sorry if i bother anyone with my questions, I just want to make right decision, as i made a big mistake of not studying for 2nd year but by gods grace I have 1 full year of experience so i am eligible for cec and want to see the options.

Worst case scenario, you go back to your country and work for one year to earn the foreign work experience. As of now, one year foreign work exp plus one year Canadian work exp will earn you more points than two years Canadian work exp.

I personally think it's simply too expensive to live in Canada without a good paying job, not to mention that you don't have any chance to significantly improve your CRS.

Bachelors and 1 year PG, ielts 7 (i can improve on that and take crs to 455 maybe)

Why would you choose visitor extension when you are on PGWP?

I have a TRV (i do not know if this counts as visitors visa) so i am confused am i extending or applying a new one.

DelPiero07 is wrong. You have a TRV which counts as a visitor visa so you will apply to EXTEND it. I confirmed this by calling CIC.

I have same education and only 2 years Canadian exp and ielts 7.5 but my CRS is 460. You have 6 years Foreign Exp and still 445.? Are you sure your profile is filled correctly.? are you married ?
