PGWP expiring. Do I have to leave the country?

PGWP expires 2nd week of Jan 2019.

I already applied for Permanent Residency and its result will arrive on last week of Jan 2019.

I also applied for Open work permit (just to be safe), result haven't arrived yet.

Do I have to leave the country or I can stay until the date of PR result?
