Hi,
I started my studies on Sept 2019. My study permit expired on Nov 2022. Currently I am in United States ( left Canada April 2022)continuing my education online. I will be graduating in august 2023. And I am planning to apply PGWP outside Canada. Will I be eligible to apply to PGWP. Does the 180 day rule apply from the date I finish my studies or the date when my study permit expired ?

What do you recommend?
Why did you let your study permit expire. Your study permit has expired. You need to apply for a study permit to count your studies outside Canada for PGWP. So any studies after November may not be counted. So you need to apply for a new study permit. And being online not sure if that will count given you don’t have a permit and are no longer in Canada. That is your biggest issue right now. Can’t tell you if you are eligible for a PGWP as it is based on full time studies.

@Naturgrl I am currently enrolled in full time studies. Should I apply for new study permit outside Canada? I am not planning to go to Canada and will be graduating outside Canada… that’s why didn’t apply

Without a study permit, your education will not be counted as Canadian if you plan to apply for PR and your education without a study permit will not count for PGWP. Given you need to show full time studies with a study permit, I am not sure you are even now eligible for PGWP. You need a study permit if you even want to see if you will be an approved for a PGWP.
