PGWP eligibility with previous part time semester and WD (withdraw)

Hi there,

I'm currently a master's student and have been working on my thesis for the past few semesters. In anticipation that I would be done in Dec 2020, I registered as a part-time student during the fall 2020 semester and during that semester I did not work and the only thing I worked on was analyzing my data and writing my thesis. Unfortunately, I did not finish and I am now enrolled for the winter 2021 semester and working on thesis revisions. I am expecting to be complete in the next few weeks. I will not be enrolled for the entire semester and I am on track to be done by the tuition refund deadlines.



My question is would having a WD on my transcript for this W21 semester make me ineligible for PGWP since I was part-time in the fall 2020 semester?

I am very worried about this right now!

has anyone ever had a similar situation?

I have a similar situation but I am an undergrad. one parttime sem. Does your transcript say part time or full time? Cuz mine says full time despite that I was technically part time that sem.. struggling...

mine says part time. the only difference was that my tuition was lower that semester

I see. I guess the difference is that I paid for the course already since it was a late withdrawal so the transcript still says I am full time.
