Hi, I completed all the courses for my degree in December 2021 (Fall 2021) and was supposed to graduate but I happened to fail one of the courses. This course was a requirement for an Honours program. Now I have the option of either retaking the course to complete the Honours program or just taking the failed grade and graduating with a non-Honours degree. I'm going with the latter otherwise I'll have to wait till next Fall to take it.
Now my question is regarding my eligibility for the PGWP. I was technically a full-time student throughout all my semesters but now instead of being a Fall 2021 graduate, I'll be a Winter 2022 graduate (graduating in April/May) even though my last semester of taking courses was Fall 2021. So there's this gap of 4 months where I haven't graduated but I'm not a student either. I don't think it counts as a leave because I've completed all the courses I need. I couldn't find anyone else in the same situation while searching online or find anything concrete on the CIC website so just wanted to know if anyone knew for sure.
Thanks.
