Hey guys!
Here's my timeline and I'm wondering if anyone can share theirs as well??

November 2019 - Graduated from University, At that point, enrolled in a post-graduate certificate program
February 20 - CIC Received study permit extension.
March 31 - Study permit expired
April 30 - Finished post-graduate certificate program
May 25 - CIC received PGWP application

I have a job offer from a financial institution that starts August 31st, I'm super worried I won't get my work permit by then. I've submitted my job offer document through the web form in hopes of having my application speedend up a little.
Singapore passport is biometric so I never needed to give biometrics.

Hey! Did you apply for a restoration + PGWP or just a PGWP? Pls let me know since I am thinking of doing the same if I do not receive my study permit extension soon.

According to the new rules, it said it’s fine if you have an implied status. So, I didn’t do a restoration! I applied for my PGWP on implied status. ( study permit still processing )

Please let us know when a decision has been made on your study permit extension. :) I am in the exact same situation as you and applied for a study permit extension in March.

My timeline (no biometrics) -

March 18th - CIC Received study permit extension.
March 30th - Study permit expired
April 27th - Finished PhD program
May 03rd - CIC received PGWP application

My application status changed to "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". I think I should receive a decision in the next few days or so. I applied from Canada in mid March, without biometrics.
