I am interested in applying for the Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program (now called PSTQ: Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés) to obtain my CSQ when the program reopens in July 2025. The work experience requirement for "Stream 1: Highly qualified and specialized skills" reads as follows:
"You must have at least 1 year of full-time or equivalent paid work experience in your main occupation, in Québec or outside Québec, during the 5 years prior to the date of your application."
Does anyone know if this means that the 1 year can be accumulated outside Canada or outside Quebec but still in Canada ?
