PGWP applied abroad updates?

Hi Everyone,

Just want to know has anyone gotten approval for PGWP (Applied abroad) recently?
My boyfriend applied PGWP in China on March 20 and did biometrics on March 30. He received biometrics validity correspondence letter on June 5 but no news since then
Anyone in similar situations?
I heard that people usually hear back soon once they receive the correspondence letter. But it has been almost 2 months and nothing yet. He checked with web form they said it's still in process. It seems like they are holding off the permits due to travel restrictions.

Applicants outside of Canada are definitely not a priority right now. All you can do is keep waiting.
