PGWP application - URGENT

Hi,

I just have quick question about what should i have to do with my situation due to refusal. I have submitted my pgwp application recently at June 5th this year after my recent study permit expiry date: May 30th which was like 6 days after. I didn't really understand the law in Canada so i was waiting for it, and then i call to IRCC regarding to this problems and found out i have to submit the restoration of study permit to process my pgwp application. So i purchased it and submitted through webform page like 13 days ago. And this morning i receive the mail that my application refused, due to passed visa date and haven't handed my restoration receipt within 90 days of expiry date. The third reason is pretty strange, that they informed as i have no proof of finishing the full time study in Canada, while i already submitted the graduation letter given from college written as "FULL TIME STUDIES, DIPLOMA". I am now so frustrating cuz I submitted all document by double check with IRCC through phone for several times and they just refused it 90 days after the previous permit expired. I hope i can get any advice regarding to this problem.

All the information is on the IRCC website. What do you mean you don’t understand and so ”I was waiting for it?” You are responsible for understanding how to apply. You submitted for a PGWP without valid status. You need to restore status to apply for PGWP. The third reason is not strange at all. Graduation letter isn’t enough. You have to submit your transcripts…all on the the IRCC website. Read all the requirmentns which states what documents you need to submit.

I called to IRCC about this problem and I already submitted the restoration transcript through the webform as the idcc indicated through the phone call assistance. I forgot to mentioned, but i also submitted the official transcript with grades and graduation letter from the college when i apply for it. I checked with the idcc website to provide the correct document to provide my study record.

IRCC agents on the phone are not officers who make decisions. They just provide information. It seems you didn’t apply with all your documents at the same time, and sent several web forms to update your file. Reapply.

So is it mean I shouldn't use the webform to add the document? But in IRCC website webform page is using for that purpose isn't it? Also... I have ask several questions through webform and they didn't replied it so... I am just asking question

You have a refusal so reapply now that your status is restored and submit with all documents.

I would suggest to speak with your schools immigration advisor, or reach out to someone who has applied for PGWP to help you out.

The issue is that your PGWP got refused because it was already in the pipeline while you just submitted your restoration. You correctly submitted the restoration that will put you back into status as a visitor (not student) and then you can submit PGWP. I have seen others submit restoration and PGWP together. With the delays processing PGWP applications I would suggest submitting your second PGWP application as soon as possible so that you will hopefully get restoration and then get your PGWP processed. If you waited to get restoration to submit your 2nd PGWP it will take a very long time. I would specify that you have applied for restoration on your PGWP just in case restorations are taking a long time and processing of PGWP has slowed down. I assume you are already aware that you can’t work until you get PGWP
