PGWP application transferred to Etobicoke

Thank you in advance for all the help.

I applied for my PGWP on the 1st of June 2016 after completing two years of education and recently got a message on my Cic account stating that my file has been referred to the Etobicoke office and that they will take the final decision. This isn't the case with a lot of my peers who haven't got the same message. I was just wondering what this meant and was there a reason why my file was transferred. Any information is appreciated.

I'm replying to my own post just to share my experience with someone who is probably in the same situation or could be in the future. Like the original post says my file got transferred to a local office for further review and after waiting for more than two months there was finally an update stating the application was accepted for a work permit of 3 years.
The waiting game has been tough on me, so if anyone else is in the same boat there isn't really much to worry about and everything will and should turn out just fine.
