PGWP and TRV

I am looking for help regarding my matter and really grateful for any help.

I was graduated with my Masters from a Canadian university (in Manitoba) in 2016 and already got the PGWP for three years (until 2019). At that time I didn't apply for a work visa because I got an opportunity to do a PhD in Ireland.

So I left Canada in last December and moved to Ireland in February, 2017. But now I have changed my mind and thought of going back to Canada for a job (I know I made a silly mistake by going to Ireland )

At the moment I don't have any job on my hand from a Canadian employer, but thinking to find one.
So :

I tried online application to a TRV. Then I gave the following answers to the questionnaire,
For the type I answered as 'visitor'
For the purpose I answered as 'other' because the other options ('visit friends/ family, for business, for tourism, attend a nominee interview') are not the suitable options for me.

Then in the checklist I am asked to provide: invitation letter, finance support and few other minor things.

So do I really need to proof my finance ability and provide an invitation letter (I don't have such letter) because I already have a PGWP and looking to find a job in Canada ?

Please be kind enough to help me regarding this matter, I am actually out-of clues. And sorry for the long message.
Anyone went through a similar scenario, please let me know how you got over it.

If you already have a PGWP, then you are a worker, not a visitor.

Thanks. That's correct but since I have been out of Canada for a year I am categorized as a returning worker and will need a valid trv to travel back into Canada. The only type of visa I can apply for as a returning worker is the visitor's visa, with what I see online. I'm just bit confused about the proof of funds.

You are not a visitor. It doesn't matter how long you have been gone. Your status is worker.

Put your status as a worker and Canada as your current country of residence and you should get the correct applicaiton and list.
