Wow congratulation!! I am very happy for you! May I ask the reason you did not use it was because you did not want to take the risk of being rejected, or because they have told you that it would not be counted toward your application?
Also, how did you get such a high score without those working experience??

I think it was pretty clear from the various resources available in the CIC website that the work done during full time studying would not count. I definitely did not want to risk it even if there was some chance.
I applied immediately after I finished my 1 year work experience in Canada.
Regarding the score, I guess age (I'm still not 30) and I had maxed in my IELTS
Also I have masters from Canada...so I guess all of them added to make the score.
Any period of employment when the applicant was engaged in full-time study will not be included in calculating the period of qualifying work experience (e.g., work experience gained through co-op work permits, off-campus work permits while a full-time student and on-campus work permits). [R87.1(3)(a)]. Officers should verify the work permit information in GCMS.
For myself, I want to be qualified in CEC express entry flow, I would work at least 1 year full-time experience before applying for a new study permit. Such that, I can make sure I can go with FWS or CEC path.
Would work experience count if I take a gap year, and go work in my country?? Could this be counted as foreign work experience considering it is a NOC b job?
