Hi,

I will be graduating this month and planning to apply for PGWP.
I checked the cic website for application and documents required. Are there any documents required other than transcript? or any suggestions to what other documents (I have full time job offer)I have to submit?
Which application method is faster ? online or paper based
Do I have to apply for the TRV at the same time or after I get pgwp?

I also want to extend my wife's work permit. But according to previous replies I received, I can only apply for her open work permit once I get the PGWP and job (which I already have). The pgwp process takes three months and my wife's visa is going to expire on july 31st. Any suggestions for this? Thank you in advance.

1. You need a letter of graduation (not convocation) and/or sealed transcripts (better if you send both). No other document required.
2. Online is faster (and make more sense).
3. You can apply for TRV only when you have PGWP in hand.
4. Your spouse will get an extended OWP only if you have a job offer in NOC O/A/B.

Hi J5M,

Thank you for your reply. For spousal open work permit, I have a full time job offer. Can I apply for her work permit right away or I would need my PGWP to send her application?
If yes, her visa is gonna expire in July 2016. How am I gonna apply for it then?(since PGWP takes 3 months to process and I am going to apply for it in 2nd week of May)

Thanks,
Vish
