Hi

I applied for the PGWP with a restoration of status because I could not apply within the time my student visa was valid.

My question is:

Is the processing time for resortarion of status + PGWP the same as that of what the website says for PGWP? (166 days)

Will they both come together or will my status be restored first?

I'd also appreciate any input from anyone who may have been in the same situation

Did you already receive the study permit extension?

I didn't apply for one. My study permit expired and I applied after so I applied for a renewal of status and PGWP
When did your study permit expire and when did your studies stop? When did you apply for restoration? Normally you have 90 days to apply for restoration when you are out of status. There was some extensions during covid but that stopped in 2021 so I assume you applied after that and needed to meet the 90 days to qualify to apply for restoration.

Study permit expired on the 30th and I applied on the 4th. So my status was expired and I paid the application and the fee to renew ir

Ok so you applied within 90 days. Assume you mean you applied for restoration and then applied to extend student permit. When that is approved you can apply for PGWP.

The restoration of status and PGWP don't come together? That's what I've heard
No you have to restore your status and apply for a study permit extension do that you can apply for PGWP. Restoring your status just restores you to legal status and then you have to apply for other permits.
