PGWP and Bridging open work permit

Hi,
If my pgwp is about to expire and have gotten PR invitation and I apply for bridging open work permit, can I work on implied status whilst waiting for the bridging open work permit?

As long as you apply for BOWP while your current PGWP is still active - you get implied status after it expires.

Within a few hours of submitting a complete application. Could be longer, a couple of days even.

Want to know that once I apply BOWP and I know it takes 4-5 months for the application to be done. But do I get a receipt of acknowledgement or something for BOWP application? Which i can use and renew my SIN?

You need the new WP to renew SIN. But your expired SIN will be still valid while you're on maintained status. See here https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/sin/receiving-updating.html
