hello,

My name is Ashish and i wanted to make sure that if i'm eligible get a PGWP if i study my second program at IBT college -(career college) with DLI: #O19359074332

i'm currently studying at centennial college a one year course and looking for the extension to get my PGWP for 3 years. Does having a DLI# is enough to make sure that upon completion of the course i can get my PGWP.?

if anybody knows any specific information about IBT college please provide it with the any other comments.

Thanks

No - having a DLI is not enough for a school/program to qualify for a PGWP. The requirements in the link below also need to be met. I would stay away from career colleges.

To be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit, international students must:
• have studied full-time for the eight months preceding the completion of their program (please see note below) and must have graduated from:
o a public post-secondary educational institution (university, college, or CEGEP); or
o a private post-secondary educational institution that operates under the same rules and regulations as public institutions, and receives at least 50 per cent of its financing for operations from government grants; or
o a Canadian private educational institution authorized by provincial or territorial statute to confer degrees;( but only if you are enrolled in one of the programs of study leading to a degree as authorized by the province and not in all programs of study offered by the private institution.)
Due to above conditions one has to be sure about the program offered will lead to eligibility for PGWP.
Further following line lead to hope that other than degree can be considered for PGWP:
• have completed and passed the program of study and received written notification that they are eligible to obtain their degree, diploma, or certificate;and
• have a valid study permit when applying for the work permit.

I AM ALSO UNABLE TO GET A CONFIRMATION WHETHER POST GRATUATE CERTIFICATE OR POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT WILL BE ACCEPTABLE.
Can anyone help please ???
