PGWP after graduation.. not completion.

Hi all,

I'm going to apply for PGWP after graduation (convocation), not after completion of degree.

I completed my degree last December. I got awarded the degree in this month's convocation.

I thought that it should be after graduation not completion!!!!
Please help. Thanks..

From the CIC web site:

• You must apply for a work permit within 90 days of receiving written confirmation (for example, a transcript or an official letter) from your institution indicating that you have met the requirements for completing your academic program.

What have you done since December? Wouldn't CIC check that?

Degree completion would normally be the day when you receive all your final grades.
From then, you will have 90 days to apply for PGWP, assuming your study permit is valid.
