PGWP after exchange

Hi everyone!

Planning to do exchange abroad from my home university to Ivey and then apply for PGWP. The program might likely take 7-8 months. After the exchange I'll get diploma accredited partially by Ivey business school. Anyone has experience with getting PGWP after exchange program?

Exchange students generally aren't eligible.

Which school will issue the diploma?

Programs need to be at least 8 months in length to qualify for a PGWP. So if the program is less than 8 month you definitely won't qualify for one.

Ivey business school, it’s part of CEMS exchange program which is well recognized in Europe. I’m planning to do spring semester + summer electives, which might probably round up to 8 months. Does that make any difference or should I seek employment outside Canada?
