My ongoing situation is this:-

1. I was in a 3yr Program , failed one subject by 1% (in 1st sem). Got around 48% in that subject
2. In 2nd sem i was a full time student, although there were some courses I couldn’t take (because i failed a course in 1st sem). And also i changed from3yr to 2yr program (withcomplete credit transfer)
3. In fall in 2020, i had to be a part-time student in order to complete that one course and i did that.
4. Now i have one more year to complete.

So how will this affect my PGWP? (Also i have a letter of explanation from my professor, explaining the reason why i failed that time. (i.e. due to being in online classes)

I am not sure why a course being online creates a reason to fail a course and I assume IRCC may feel the same way. Yes your 1 part-time semester could result in your PGWP being denied. DId you work during that part-time period as well which would not be allowed?

Actually the course is a technical course it’s software engineering, and we had projects. Plus this is the same reason my professor wrote in the letter i got from him.
And no I didn’t work.

Not understanding why needing to do projects online is a justification for failing. Did most of the people in the course fail? If so that would be good information to include because it may show that the course did not translate well to an online course. A professor's letter only has so much weighting, IRCC still needs to remain consistent between students when it comes to the rules.

So i need the professor to write that most of the people failed in that course !? Because I don’t think he would ever write that. Also will the IRCC officer be able to see my marks? Because if so, i failed the course by 1 mark, and now i passed it with 71%.

I am saying that being online is not a justification for failing a course and so the letter from your professor doesn't carry much weight. The only way it may have a chance of potentially being accepted was if the majority of the class failed indicating there may be an issue with the online course.

But how is the officer gonna know that most of the class failed or not? Because i think that the course wasn’t specifically designed to being an online one, cause this semester They changed a lot of things.

You would need proof from the school showing that it most of the students failed because of issues making it an online course. That still wouldn't guarantee that the reason would be accepted. If only you or a few people failed it would indicate that the course could have been passed.

If you look at the PGWP thread you will see that people are getting PGWP even with part time and sometimes multiple part time semesters so write an explanation and include the letter and you have a chance of getting it still.

You should write your own letter and you can include the letter from your professor. As stated before if others passed it wasn't just due to the course being online. I would be much more detailed about why being online resulted in failing.
