PGWP 2022-2023 Policy Confusion.

Dear All,

Appreciate if someone could assist with the following doubt.

Currently on PGWP extension which got from the 2022 policy since the original PGWP was expiring during 2022. Now, the Current 2023 extension policy states that "held or holds a PGWP with an expiry date between September 20, 2021, and December 31, 2023" which covers the date of the initial/original PGWP expiry Aug 2022(Not an extension). (Ref- https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/post-graduation-work-permit-holders/apply-in-canada.html#:~:text=If you applied under a previous public policy for PGWP holders)

So,

(1) Can apply for another extension using the 2023 policy? (Currently, have an extension expiring Jun 2024(NOT the original PWGP) which was received from the 2022 PGWP PP)

(2) Will IRCC approve it or chances are they won't? Sincegot one extension using 2022 policy.

Kindly answer/comment if anyone knows.

1. No. Your permit expires in June 2024. You have had your extension.
2. No it will not be approved.

I'm directly copying from the page cited above:

If you applied under a previous public policy for PGWP holders
Depending on when your original PGWP expired, you may also be eligible for this public policy.

If your original PGWP expired on or after September 20, 2021, and on or before December 31, 2023, you can apply under this PGWP public policy.

If your original PGWP expired before September 20, 2021, you can’t apply under this public policy. If you want to work in Canada, you need to apply for another work permit.
