Hi,

I have a question regarding the 180-day calculation for PGWP eligibility. My university will issue my final official marks for the Fall term on January 8, 2025. However, I will receive unofficial grades and standings on December 20, 2024. So, in this case, will the calculation of 180 days start on December 20, 2024, or Jan 8, 2025, when final grades are official?

Thank you in advance!

IRCC says 180 days from graduation. In general, the date it's official you have passed is the graduation date and the date you receive degree is the degree date. Considering it's only 2 weeks between official and unofficial marks being posted, go with the latter to play it safe.
