May I know if the new PGWP extension has been officially announced yet?
I read that there will be another one opening this summe/June? My friend PGWP expiring this October. Please help

Btw, my friend has extended his PGWP for 18 months before (last year, under an extension policy similar to this, I don’t know if anyone can remember)
so you guys think he still can apply again this time?

Based on information that was provided by the immigration minister last week, he does not qualify. Those who previously received an 18 month extension are excluded from this program. However I don't see this information indicated here so I guess your friend can try and see what happens. I think he should be expecting a refusal but it might be worth trying all the same.
