PGP 2024 - Unique AOR Question for Both Parents and Grand Parents Sponsorship

Hi all,

Back in 2020, I submitted an interest to sponsors form for both - Parents and Grandparents

I received an invitation letter for all, as they all were nominated on one interest to sponsorship form

Per CIC requirements as they are considered 2 separate couples, I had to submit 2 separate applications which I then submitted on the same date

Now the question, I have received the AOR for my parents but there is no news on my Grandparent's application submission, nor any additional documents requested for my grandparents, whereas before receiving the AOR for my parent's application I was asked for additional documents and then received the AOR

I called CIC for my grandparent's application, and they gave me the Grandparents' temporary application number but it has been 2 months already and still nothing no Additional documents requested neither AOR

Is this normal, or should I be concerned? Is it possible for CIC can process my parents' application only and reject my grandparents' application although I received a nomination for all?

How exactly are 2 couples being considered one EOI? IRCC boggles my mind.

I can understand your emotions, and I'm hoping for more of an answer. Is it routine that I have received AOR for my parents, and there is no word on my grandparents' AOR yet, or should I be concerned?

The rules about how many generations you can include on 1 EOI are not well established which is one of the problems. Impossible for anyone to guess what is happening with your case.
