Hello, does anyone know how many times CIC ask for medical exam? My in-laws finished their medical on 17th Dec'21, my father in-law got additional medical exam request in one week, he finished his additional medical exam on 4th March'22 and he got another additional medical exam request on 7th March’22. Is this normal...

I have heard of stories, that sometimes the results wont come good, in that case they might ask for one more medical exam.

One of my friend had to give urine redult second time. He got PR.. If you need more info I will defenitly ask him and let you know.

Thanks for your response. Yeah please check with your friend. My father in-law already did the medical twice, this is the 3rd time he is going for the medial in last 3 months and every time they have to travel to a different city for their medical because we don’t have any panel physician in our city. I am just worried after this 3rd medical if they ask for another one then it will be a problem

I got a letter from CIC that my father in-law needs to do additional medical exam but the panel physician is saying they didn’t receive any instruction regarding any additional exam, what should we do now? They also gave a letter saying all the required exams are completed.

Hi, is the request for police clearance after medical exam or before it? They sent the medical & biometric letters to the wrong email (@gamail.com !!!). I realized it kinda late, called and asked to resend them to the correct email, now I'm wondering if police clearance should've been requested before or after the medical letter. Please advise.

Here is the timeline:

Application received: Feb 19, 2021
Sponsorship decision made: Dec 2021
Medical exam request: Dec 2021 (to the wrong email)
biometric request: Jan 2022 (to the wrong email)
medical & biometrc request to the right email: Feb 2022
Medical/biometric completed: March 2022
Medical exam passed: March 9, 2022

Once the medical is clear they will ask for police clearance. In my opinion you can start the police verification process, it takes 1 month to complete

My father is also diabetic and have have hypertension . But he passed the medical exam. May be better to check once with the centre where your parents went for test.

Yes , he take tablets but no insulin
