I have received a Police Clearance certificate (PCC) request for my parents. Can you pls help in addressing following question:

Do we need to get a Police Clearance Certificate for the travel that my parents did back in 2003, 2005, and 2010. In each time they were in the U.S for 2 months. In accumulation with all those three years makes it 6 mons.

Do we need to provide a PCC from US for that 6 mons? - if you have the answer pls include a link.

I got DM for sponsor and in process for the applicants. Got the AOR on mid Nov.

Application received Feb 10, 2021, AOR September 3, 2021, no update since then, ECAS still Application received.
Anyone in the same case???

Hey, does anyone know how long it take to get PCC from India? y parent are in India, they visited passport office through appointment, they were told they will be contacted by local police station and after verifcation they will mail PCC to residential address. has anyone done this recently and can share the process and time frame? thank you

Same here my parents visited the police station and got it pushed the Sp office told us it will be sent back to passport seva Kendra by early next week someone told me it takes 2-3 week

How many days it take currently to get ecopr after updating address and photo on ircc pr confirmation portal?

We replied to portal on 25 November for my spouse parents. Have not heard anything back. Portal still shows in review. Did you get the first email from Operations support centre, Centralized network?

We got email on 16th November with portal credentials. We updated address and photo on 17 November. After that status is under ircc review and no further email from portal.

What does the portal consist on? I would really appreciate your help because I’m trying to understand the process.
When you log in the portal what are you supposed to do? Any specific action? Thanks in advance my friend.

Thank you for your reply. I had the same understanding, and i did came across of that link for express entry (not PGP).

My request for PCC was generic no specific country mentioned. We already got PCC from Local Country.

At the time when I was about to submit the PCC through the portal there is an example mentioned in there that shows how to calculate 6 mons (as mentioned above). That is why I'm confused.

Yeah, buddy same story for me, so frustrating ...
I even contacted my local MP (Member of Parliament) he is on my behalf contacted IRCC and just replied with a same status that I see in my IRCC linked application - just advised to Wait.. (((

I am excited to see all the PGP application development. Want to share my timeline as well. ​ January 04, 2021 – received letter selected for PGP January 20, 2021 – application received by CIC September 10, 2021 – approval as sponsor September 10, 2021 – medical results November 02, 2021 – Police clearance/additional info request November 23, 2021 – Police clearance/ additional info submitted No biometrics request yet. My parents did it last yr before they came here to Canada. Is this normal?

Hi, I did not receive PCC request. I submitted PCC at the beginning of the application. The additional documents is specific about my case
