Hello Members,
My sponsorship ecas changed to "Decision Made" today. So do we get any confirmation from IRCC that I am approved or not? Application Recd February 9, 2021 and AOR recd Sept. 3, 2021.

Thank you.
Hi, did you receive the request to submit the financial form 5768 like everyone?

Hi, is anyone here applying from Quebec, has anyone received emails from IRCC asking them to apply for CSQ?

Many thanks

I think it is self-explanatory from the message.

"Please note that the following documentation will be required for your sponsorship application to determine whether you meet the minimum necessary income requirements to sponsor a parent or grandparent. In order to minimize processing delays, if not already included in your application, please obtain and submit as soon as possible:
- A completed and signed authorization form – IMM 5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship providing your Social Insurance Number."

They said: ".......if NOT already included in your application......". So I think it suggests that no action is needed, however not 100% sure. I would appreciate if senior forum members can please give their opinion, as many people who have filled IMM5768 and provided SIN info for CIC to contact CRA directly, are receiving these letters.

*Bump to this post......would anyone concur that no re-submission of IMM 5768 is not required for those who provided already with their original application ?

Only Biometrics

Hi, I saw that you are also a Quebec applicant. Have you received emails from IRCC asking you to apply for CSQ?

I have received biometrics and medical request, but I still havent received anything from IRCC asking me to apply for CSQ, which seems a little weird. Wondering if you have received anything.

Many thanks,

Hello People,

My file received in second week of January/2021. After that I received 2 emails to submit few forms and option C. On sept 3/2021 received AOR and thats it.

ecas shows sponsor and applicant in process, linked account shows nothing.

income is more than enough to qualify for 2018, 2019 & 2020.

I see people whose file received in February/2021 are getting medical, bio and pcc request.

I tried reaching cic call Center but they wont provide any update.

Anything to worry?
Is anyone in same boat as me?

Thank you

after aor no biometrics or medicals

ecas status still in process :(

You need to get the medical exam request from cic first. There will be an instruction letter from CIC.

thanks for the reply... IRCC need medicals and they mentioned they sent me instructions for medical separately, however i didn't received any separate instructions. I called on IRCC and the agent told me that she will ask CPC Mississauga to send instruction however it may take up to 20 days to get the instructions.. so just wondering if the instructions are particular with any reference or generic instructions.

One question for Police clearance in advance, please.
Does IRCC ask to send Police clearance document by mail or do they accept to upload the scan copies?

IRCC asked for police clearance.

they gave 3 options to submit documents

- MyCIC account
- email
- IRCC webform

i am unable to link the application with CIC account...just wondering what should be the best way

Hello Inder

Are your parents in Canada? Did PCC request came with Medicals?
if you don’t mind, can you please share the language in the PCC request letter you got? Thanks

Hi,

yeah my parents are in Canada on Super visa. I got letter for medicals and PCC...

letter is very specific to the case. i need to provide more documents like, marriage certificate, Job records with duties for my father because he was govt employee along with medicals and PCC.

How much deadline do they provide for PCC ? Is it 30 days, same as Medicals and Biometric ?

yeah its 30 days only..but we can ask for extension since PCC will take around 8 weeks time as per BLS web site

Sorry I missed your previous msg. I check the medical request we received before. It come with a PDF file including instruction and also a form which has barcode and your parents info in it . You have to bring the form to the physician in your city. So please contact CIC if you didn’t receive that form(MEDICAL REPORT CLIENT BIODATA AND SUMMARY, IMM1017E). The instructions are below for your reference.

Medical Examination Instructions
These medical instructions are being issued as your immigration application has reached the stage where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.
When to complete your Immigration Medical Examination
You are required to undergo the medical examination within 30 days of the date of this letter. Failure to do so may result
in the refusal of your immigration application.
Who may complete your Immigration Medical Examination
Your medical examination must be performed by a doctor from the IRCC list of Panel Physicians. The list of Panel Physicians to find a doctor in your area: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx
How to complete your Immigration Medical Examination
Book an appointment with a Panel Physician in your area as soon as possible. If you are unable to complete your medical examination within the 30 day timeframe provided, it is your responsibility to inform the IRCC office responsible for processing your application as soon as possible.
Once your medical examination has been completed the Panel Physician will submit medical results to IRCC for assessment. To obtain a copy of your Immigration Medical Examination please ask the panel physician at the time of your appointment.
Paying for your Immigration Medical Examination
Any costs related to the medical examination are your responsibility and are payable to the Panel Physician at the time of the examination. This payment is for the Panel Physician’s services and cannot be refunded even if your immigration application is refused or the validity period of your immigration medical examination expires.
Note: If you are eligible for coverage under the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), the costs related to your immigration medical examination will be covered by the IFHP. Please confirm with the Panel Physician in your area that they are registered with the IFHP.
What must I bring to my appointment?
IMPORTANT: If you have a previous or existing medical condition, bring any medical reports, test results or prescriptions that you may have with you to your appointment. This may help reduce the time it takes for your application to be processed.
• The attached Medical Report form (IMM1017E)
• Identification, including your passport if one is available. Proof of identity must include at least one
government-issued document with photograph and signature, such as a passport or driver’s license.
• Eye glasses or contact lenses, if worn
• Four recent photographs. You will need to bring these only if the doctor you select from the list of panel physicians
does not work with IRCC via the eMedical system. Please check with the doctor’s office when you book your
appointment
• Interim Federal Health Certificate (IMM 5695) or Refugee Protection Claimant Document – for individuals eligible for
coverage under the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)

thanks , much appreciated.... what is best way to contact CIC or upload documents...

Hi guys,
I need your help, we are preparing the application for CSQ for Quebec financial evaluation.
My surname is blank on the passport so for Quebec forms should put my given name under the maiden name (Mom de famille a la naissance ) and leave First name (Premom ) blank or put xx under First name (Premom). As per IRCC, If you don’t have a family name on your passport, travel or identity document, enter all your given name(s) in the surname field and leave the given name field blank. Do not enter “Not applicable,” “*” or “NA.”

I am not sure that the same rule applies to Quebec CSQ forms, please provide some quidance.
FYI, on my Quebec driving licence, they put xx for my First name (Premom)
Thank you in advance.

find a designated Canadian immigration physician in your city and get the medical done by him/her. It’s pretty straightforward process, the physicians will know everything that needs to be done! Thanks

thanks..much appreciated
