Hi Guys, My parents are currently living with me in Canada from the last 4 months and they are planning to continue their visit for atleast 1 year more as they are on supervisa. In IMM0008 form what would be their residential address?

I put same as current address (Canadian).

What is the scary part? All signatures need to be handwritten signature.
It says Date as well*..............The sponsored person (principal applicant) must also sign and date the application with a handwritten signature or it will be returned.

I am pretty sure I typed in the date when I sent in the application. So are your forms just missing the date?

Hi friend , i got photo from back home , but the photo studio stamp on back photo and dob and passport no too , is that a validate ?

I don't see why the dates need to be hand written.
Thanks @YVR123, the guide is not very well spelt. Just trying to make sure my application is not sent back after all the effort. And if I can avoid spending another $100+ to DHL a new set of forms back to my parents, You know what I mean?

Hi,
I have another question for my employment, in 2018 I left a company on Oct-27-2018 and joined another company on Nov - 05-2018. Should I mention the period of 9 days as a unemployed or just mention till end of the month i.e. Oct-31-2018 and starting date of new company as Nov-01-2018.
Thanks
ANYONE ON THIS?

Not sure what needs to be done but I would have given Indian address as residential address. Technically parents are on a temp visit (even though it is 2 years) and in my opinion permanent residential address will still be Indian address. Their mailing address will be Canadian Address.
Thanks for the reply, but what about form IMM5669, in that form they do ask the addresses they have lived in the past 10 years. In the past 10 years they have lived on multiple times in Canada and usually the visits end being close to 1 years.

Hi Guys,
My parents took a studio photo and got studio stamp on the back side back home.

can they scan both side and I printed like the real one (with the printed stamp?)
or this has to be FEDEX ?

also is the application gets rejected due to a mistake (date mistake, number mistake, or misunderstanding on how to fill it) will get CLOSED and100% no way to amend for consideration?

thanks

May be search around to see if others also think the dates next to the signatures needed to be hand written or not.

Mine was accepted back in 2018.

I have submitted with hand-written signature and typed dates generated while filling the form.

In 2019 rules changed , signature must be hand written. In 2019 CIC requested few applicant to resubmit form again with handwritten signature.

As per CIC https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...sor-parents-grandparents.html#apply-principal
  • complete and sign the Schedule A – Background/Declaration [eIMM 5669] with a handwritten signature

We know that signatures need to be hand written. We did submitted handwritten signature back in 2018.

We are talking about the "DATE" next to the signature. OP wasn't sure if the DATE needed to be handwritten as well.
