DM will come soon...Hi, had anyone got the decision made on their parents PR application.
Mine is biomatric and medical done today. Just wondering how much time it will take for decision made after that and when my parents get their passport request. Thanks
@popjess thanks bud.It does not matter...
Sending PCC out Before your MER is perfect; and if not, IRCC will wait for your documents to release PR, that's it.
I recently got a PCC for my parents through BLS and I walked in. I had an option to take BLS appointment but I walked in and applied with my parents.Thank you @jadeja it is helpful.
One more query - my mother is in Canada and I booked appointment at BLS international here, and the latest appointment I got is 12th Nov.
From 12th November, there is another 4-8weeks wait for processing of PCC ie Somewhere near late dec-early Jan 2022.
Do you think IRCC will consider such delayed submission of documents. Just curious.
Did you receive the SA letter in mail or email? I got AOR on September 3 and nothing after that....My gckey says 10 days ago, "we need additional documents to process your application. We will send you letter or email" but didn't see anything coming in last 10 days. So getting worried Did you receive anything like that before your SA?Hello guys, I have a question about getting PCC in India. The latest appointment my father getting is Oct 28.

You need to have your relative to visit police station in India once you receive an email police verification initiated - after how many days of visiting BLS you received email that police verification has been initiated?. Sooner your relative completes the formality at police station in India, quicker is the PCC. Once police submit clear report, write an email and phone consulate to print it otherwise consulate takes forever to print it. Let me know if you need anything.
we got PCC in 2.5 weeks.
you need following documents for BLS
-Your Indian passport copy even if it is cancelled due to Canadian citizenship.
-Your landing paper
-Your driver license
-Your Canadian passport or citizenship copy or PR card
-Your parents Indian passport copy and copy of -all the stamps on the passport of your parents
-one photo each for parents - does BLS click photo?
-And also take any letter from IRCC asking your parents for PCC like the SA letter or any other document showing your parents immigration application is in process as consulate doesn’t issue PCC to visitors. I was verbally asked by BLS about it but was not asked for any letter. Just take it in case BLS ask you this. - which document did you submit, usually spouse name (mother) is not mentioned on any documents, it says your dependent family member?
Again for any kind of delay submit a webform and provide proof to show you are making all efforts to get the requested document as soon as possible.
MER is medical exam result according to me - thank you
Does your ecas shows medical result has been received? If it shows it means your parents passed medical exam. - yes my parents passed the medical exam, ECAS is not yet updated, but there GCkey profile is updated.
wish you good luck - thank you
Once you submit your application at BLS check the status at Application Status Tracking (blsindia-canada.com)@jadeja thanks for your detailed response. I have few follow up questions to ask you highlighted above, seeking some more clarification.
Same 8th March Application received date.. only generic email for IMM5768 and linked app online 6th Sept.. nothing afterwards.. hope my reply helpsHi Folks,
Application received: March 04
AOR: August 30
No update after that. ECAS status shows application received. is there anyone else who have same situation.
should i contact IRCC or wait for an update. Thanks
Thank you so much for your help and sharing your experience. It is very very helpful.Once you submit your application at BLS check the status at Application Status Tracking (blsindia-canada.com)
On BLS website choose the submission type as postal and application type -passport and provide passport details to get the application status.
Once BLS tracking shows processing at consulate, track the rest of the status at Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates (passportindia.gov.in)
On passport seva for tracking provide the reference number which BLS provided to you and the date of birth of a parent to track the status. You will see the status like initiation of police verification, Police submit clear report and PCC print on passport seva website.
Once tracking shows pcc print, call or write an email to the consulate where your application went for them to dispatch the PCC to you.
Then go back to BLS tracking again to see your PCC received by BLS from consulate and then from BLS to your home.
After submitting my PCC application at BLS, next day it went to consulate and in two days I got an email on the email address which I provided on the application form that police verification has been initiated. I got two emails one for father and the other for mother.
Provide your relative Indian phone number on the application so that police can contact them to verify your parents details.
Once I got the police verification initiated email, the same day my relative went to the police and provided my parents voter card and adhaar card photo copy and did the rest of the formalities.
I got photos of my parents at Staples 51 mm X 51 mm. I told them to print this size only.
I was asked about the letter from immigration to show that my parents PR application is in process as consulate doesn't provide PCC to visitors/tourists but I didn't take any evidence in regards to it.
You can take your SA letter. In India it is understood that wife is a dependent of the husband and hence if you are providing SA letter that has your father's name then it will cover your mother as well. Again I was asked about it but I didn't submit it and my application was accepted at BLS. I asked you to take it in case you are asked about it and you can submit the application in one visit at BLS.
Remember you need to prepare two separate applications one for your father and another for mother. Get two sets of photocopies of all the required documents.
