PGP 2020

Hi all,

Just received an email from IRCC confirming the application is received. It also says:

"Please note that the following documentation will be required for your sponsorship application to determine whether you meet the minimum necessary income requirements to sponsor a parent or grandparent. In order to minimize processing delays, if not already included in your application, please obtain and submit as soon as possible:
- A completed and signed authorization form – IMM 5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship providing your Social Insurance Number."

I already included this form when submitting the application. So Im bit confused here.

Do I need to send that form again or its just a template included in all AOR emails ? Also, does this message mean AOR?

Hi Everyone

my parents haven’t been invited to apply yet but I am planning of time.
They currently have a super visa and plan to stay with me while we apply for their PR

I was looking at the website and it says that they only need:
Biometrics
Police check
Health check

i can’t seem to find online the application package. Can someone send it to me ?
i am assuming the application is not as simple. What other paper work have you been asked to present?

It can take years to get selected for PGP. At a certain point their stay in Canada will not be extended so I would make sure they have options to return home. A supervisa remains a visitor visa and the PGP is renewed every year and isn’t guaranteed. There was also plans to change the program in 2020 but due to covid the changes didn’t go ahead. Priority to those who have applied for many years will likely be a factor. With the elections there a.so could be significant changes to the program.

Hello Harry, I have been able to link just have entered Principal Applicants details (application number that starts with FXXXXX). Another thing is maybe your application is not yet in that stage that it can be linked, could be! I have received an email with AOR with file number. submission date 8 March

Got an email asking to submit the IMM5768 Financial evaluation for parents and grandparents sponsorship.
Question- the email said 'if not already included with the application please do so as soon as possible' i had submitted this with the application do i need to resubmit? Also i gave 'authorization to collect the information from CRA' check box ticked.
Question 2: I had a new born in June 2021 how do i notify IRCC?

Hello, My 2 cents ! If you have not submitted 2020 NOA and have given consent then you still need to submit 2020 NOA to be on safe side. What makes me say this? >> Why would you have provided 2018/2019 NOA's even after giving consent? They could have pro-cured it from CRA right? So, My recommendation is to submit your 2020 NOA if not done already. Disclaimer : These are my personal thoughts.

Received the same email. I am also confused as i sent that form properly completed and signed. (have a copy of everything that i sent to them). But i am thinking to err on side of caution to send it again - thoughts / comments anyone?

I think it is self-explanatory from the message.

They said: ".......if NOT already included in your application......". So I think it suggests that no action is needed, however not 100% sure. I would appreciate if senior forum members can please give their opinion, as many people who have filled IMM5768 and provided SIN info for CIC to contact CRA directly, are receiving these letters.

I received biomatric request but didn’t find any concent form request. Is this form needs to fill before biomatric. The request i got doesn’t have this mentioned. Thought they have mentioned all the documents required on that day. If you can advise me on that and also send me that form at bhumesh7@gmail.com. That will be highly appreciated. Thanks

@KAUSHAL321, please was the biometric email sent to your email or your parent's email? Also was it updated under your application status online where they have the 'messages about your application' part?
