PGP-2018 Original or Scanned Copy of Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)?

Hi All,

The email requesting police clearance for parents is a little confusing. It states that "Police Certificate: Please provide copy of an original police certificate from COUNTRY". The myAccount has a section to upload file for PCC.

However, my understanding is that original PCC needs to be submitted, not a copy. Will a scanned copy work?

This is for PGP-2018 application.

I would upload a scanned copy, and also mail in the original. Cover both bases

I have the same question.

Does anyone know if scanned copy is fine? I emailed the high commission of canada in Delhi asking this question and they said I can email them the documents but in the letter it says to send original?
