I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate with 5 years of experience in Procurement and Logistics in Dubai.
I am planning to pursue 1 years PGD in Supply chain Management at Humber.
Need your kind suggestions in following

1) What is the job prospect for supply chain Management in Canada? is there a demand in that sector for expatriates?

2)How hard it is to grab a skilled job in Supply chain industry after completing the course?

3)My course is of 2 sem and i assume i might get 1 year of PGWP. Is that time enough to gain experience and apply for a PR?

If there are any experts here who did same course and who is been working in this sector kindly reply and all experts please give your inputs for the above queries.

Hey Praveen,

I know i am late in replying and its a bit off topic, however just wanted to know if you have decided on your course of action of your masters in SCM. I am from Mumbai in India and planning a similar course. If you can drop in your contact details, we can connect to take better decisions. Let me know

You could try for the PGD in SCM at Humber or Seneca. I got a friend at Seneca and heard that crowd is really international with lot of expertise.

Both are good colleges though.

If your planning masters, Laurier has a good program.

Perveen, are you pakistani?

hello friends,
i am also considering this program. well i have done a little bit research on it. There is another good college named ST. LAWRENCE COLLEGE offering program in logistics and supply chain management. The is a very bright career in logistics in canada. Today about 7.5 lac people engaged in this profession in canada and 66000 positions are vacant (that is what stats reflect) and till 2020 there will be 1 lac more jobs. Now u can himself estimate friends its a very promising sector.
