This is a right step to bring to the attention of CIC Minister about the inconsistent timelines for application processing in different regions of Canada.
Citizenship is a Federal matter so there should be uniformity in the processing time. Processing timelines favouring one region or province over other disturbs the sense of equality amongst the regions. Citizenship processing should be centralized and should follow First In First Out rule.

26 months to a test in Winnipeg; no-RQ ,application was considered routine. How is this justified when some people in other parts of Canada are getting the oath in 8 months? Why is there no class action on this? ???

I have a question that instead of this petition wouldn't it be better to contact Jason Kenny As he sits in calgary now and maybe he can highlight this issue or the other option that we can directly approach the minister Chris Alexander's secratary Alexis pavlich can we choose these options

Hi

On what basis?

I don't know. Unequal and discriminatory treatment in the delivery of federal government services on the basis of province? I am sure you can come up with something.

I believe there is a real problem here too and nobody bothers to address it yet

This arguement is baseless. Can you guys do this in India, etc? you guys need to remember it is a privilege not a right. WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU PEOPLE TO INFLICT OUR CANADIAN SYSTEM WITH BASELESS TALK/TROUBLE.

You are right. Because it's not India or somewhere in the third world, those who believe in a better system here in Canada have the right to address the issue to help Canada truly Canada.

Now the question is : Do you have any proof that some applicants are being processed faster than others? You can't get the proofs based on forum like this, some people say that their application is being delayed, but they are not telling the whole circumstance, like for example, they ever got arrested, even never went to court, that will delay the application for long time.

That's what pre-trial discovery is for. Look, trust me, it has been taking more than two years for ROUTINE cases in Winnipeg to even get a test date. It is nothing less than absurd.

Who said life is fair??? :-X

Thank you for understanding. These guys just need to understand how thinks work in this part of the world. They are the ones trying to mess up our system. They are the ones litigating on the returned applications from the old system. It is not compulsory for them to come to Canada and MESS up our system. Something they can not do in the SUB CONTINENT. 8)
