PERSONALY CONTACTING CHC DELHI? PLEASE ADVISE HOW TO PROCEED.

Dear Senior Members,
I am planning to visit CHC Delhi this week.
I would like to get some advise regarding this.
Please advise regarding the following points-
- what days to visit CHC Delhi/
- what time to reach CHC Delhi, Queuing needed?
- what documents to take?
- any other relevant points/tips for visiting CHC Delhi.

Dear SK,
from my previous posts you must be aware of my predicament.
It is now >11 weeks sinse I had sent my Passports to CHC Delhi.
My son has got admission to BITS Pialni Dubai Campus(Engineering Institute) & has to join by 25-08-09.
But as the passports are with CHC delhi he cannot proceed. So I want to request CHC to expidite the process so that my son could join the institute.
Any suggestions please.

1...visiting days are monday to thursday
2...reach there 9.00am. If possible 8.30am
3.... all the documents you have sent to cic. you must be having a copy of those documents.
also any fax that you have sent--copy of that .
any email that you sent them or received from them...print out of that.
documents regarding your sons admissions.
It is better you go on a tuesday or wednesday. This is because we do not know what documents they want. If you go on thursday and you are short of some documents then they will ask you to come again on monday with all your documents complete. Fridays and saturdays are not public dealing days and you will have to wait till monday even when you have arranged for the documents.

Are you going in your car?? you have to park your car elsewhere,
ChC does not allow you to park your car in their vicinity. For me it was a pain parking my car some 10 min drive away and then reaching there by auto. Autos will charge you exorbitantly when you tell them you want to go to canada high commission. I think it will be better if you hire a taxi for the day so that even if they go for a lunch break which as at 1.00pm you too will be able to have some snacks.

Be prepared to sit under the CHC trees waiting for your turn.

Whatever I have posted is not to scare you/ deter you.
I have shared my experience of CHC with you.

I am in a confused stste because it is now over 11 weeks since I have submitted my passports.

Dear sushidOc,
I would like one clarification.
Some where I had read that you have to reach CHC Delhi very early to stand in line say at 4.00 am.
Is it true or if one reaches there between 8.00-9.00 as you have written is OK.
Please clarify.

hey eye doc..........been readiing alot of ur posts n i wanna just tell u that if ur son can get in bits pilani dubai den i guess he should be able to gettin a college in ur province..........honestly i feel totally wrong to be advising u abt ur son but just being an indian i am taking the oppurtunity n cuz its in our blood to give advise for free.........he can apply for the jan semester n i am sure the education in canada is much better and he will get more oppurtunities in his latter life............if u r worring abt the fee den dun worry too much as PR guys will get citizens tuition n a guaranteed loan..........
